Money questions
Yes, for the instance and the product. The two costs that are not ours are the ones you would carry anywhere: the hosting accounts the instance runs on (a Supabase project and a Vercel deployment, both with free tiers that carry a community of a few hundred) and Stripe's own card processing on your membership payments, which Stripe charges you directly. We do not add anything to either. There is no onboarding fee, no per member charge, and no charge to leave.
Founders Lifetime is sold exactly 25 times. Each sale is one organization, one database, one brand. When the 25th is claimed the tier closes and the yearly Instance tier at $1,200 remains. The count on this page is the real one and is updated by hand the day a sale closes. We publish it because a stated seat count is the only honest form of scarcity.
You set a plan in Settings: a name, a price, and monthly or yearly billing. Members join it from their Membership page and pay through Stripe Checkout connected to your own Stripe account. Stripe charges its processing fee and the rest clears to your bank. Apex Community takes zero. On a $25 membership that is roughly $24 to you and about a dollar to Stripe, and that ratio does not change as you grow.
Bring your member list and mint one invite link: people claim their own accounts with their own email and password, and display names are unique inside your community from the first day. A fresh feed with a pinned welcome post gives the community a first day everyone shares. Courses and events can be re-entered in an afternoon, and the first call is for exactly that.
Yes. The membership plan you set in Settings bills through Stripe Checkout on your own Stripe account, and the product has no code path that routes any part of a membership payment to us. That is true on Founders, Instance and Partner alike. The only percentage anyone takes is Stripe's processing fee, which Stripe publishes and charges you directly. Put 0.0 into the fee slider on the home page and you are reading our number.
Nothing. Founders and Instance both carry no member limit and no fee on revenue, so a community that grows from 50 to 2,000 members pays the same amount to us. Hosting costs on your own accounts rise with usage, and at 2,000 active members you should expect the hosting providers to move you off their free tiers into their entry paid plans. That is the only number that grows, and it is theirs, not ours.
Five things, and the product tracks them for you on the organizer's Home page: a name, a cover photograph (three are shipped, chosen in the Branding studio), an accent that passes the contrast check, written community guidelines, and ten invited people. The checklist under the cover band shows the count as a progress rule and removes itself from the page the day the fifth step completes. Most organizers finish it in one sitting.
It depends on how many instances you expect in the first year, and we quote it in writing before anything is signed. As a shape: a reseller planning five to ten instances is usually quoted per instance per year at a rate below the public Instance price, with the shared template and the overview included. Ask on this page and the quote comes back inside one business day.
